Manuscript preparation
Manuscripts must be submitted in .doc or .docx format, in Times New Roman 12pt with 1.5 line spacing, and footnotes in Times New Roman 10pt with single spacing.
- Research Articles: 5,000–12,000 words including footnotes
- Short Articles and Essays: 2,500–5,000 words
- Case Comments and Legislative Comments: 2,000–4,000 words
- Book Reviews and Notes: 1,500–3,000 words
- Book Chapters: as agreed with the Editorial Board
Abstract and keywords
Every submission carries an abstract of not more than 250 words and between four and six keywords. The abstract must state the question, the argument and the contribution, and must not be a summary of the literature.
Anonymity
The manuscript file must not carry the author's name, institution, acknowledgements or self-identifying citations. Author details are captured separately in the submission portal so that peer review remains double-blind.
Citation
Citations follow the Mos Legis Review citation format, with pin cites for every judicial authority. Parallel citations are given in the order set out in the style sheet and must be used consistently throughout.
